One of the most popular requests I received when I first offered Climbing Frames was for a solid set of Monkey Bars that would if neccesary support active teenagers. In response I designed the Monkey Bars / Climbing Frame and Monkey Bars Accessory. It has proven to be a popular choice ever since. It uses sturdy horizontal beams (9cm x 9cm square) fitted with 4cm in diameter substantial hardwood rungs for strength and ease of grip. Even in winter these rungs will be comfortable and safe to use, unlike plastic or steel. The horizontal beam is also pre-drilled on one side to take the supplied swing hangers. To these hangers can be fitted a baby swing or wooden swing, or other accessories such as a Knotted Climbing Rope, Trapeze Bars, Roman Rings or Rope Ladder. IMPORTANT - because of the narrower base of the Monkey Bars always put your swing on the tower end. It is not recommended that you fit a swing once the children are over 8 or 9. Note - the Monkey Bars will fit all my Climbing Frames EXCEPT the Multi-Skill Climbing Tower (it already has one!) and the Multi-Platform Kids Fort.

Building Your Climbing Frame

This should take 2 people approximately 1-2 hours to assemble allowing for digging 2 holes 30cm in depth and about 15cm in diameter for the ladder uprights.

This climbing frame is suitable for ages 4 - 16 years old.

This climbing frame is suitable for use at home in your garden. It is designed to sit on your lawn and does not need any special safety surface under it. Please note that it is not intended for commercial use in schools, pubs, and public play areas. This climbing frame can only be delivered to mainland Scotland, England, Wales, and the Isle Of Wight. Delivery cost to any of these areas is FREE.

How Long Will Your Climbing Frame Take To Get To You ?

Your climbing frame is usually delivered to you within 2-5 working days, if you are paying by credit card. You can pay by cheque, but obviously you need to make allowance for the time it takes for the cheque to arrive and the time it takes for the cheque to clear. Paying by credit or debit card is by far the quickest and easiest way to pay, particularly if you want your climbing frame in a hurry !
