This is a high quality plastic ship's wheel with a diameter of 350 mm. The set includes the wheel, hexagon head woodscrew (8mm x 60 mm), washer and bolt cover.

To install, make sure the depth of your mount is at least enough to accommodate the depth of the screw. Drill a pilot hole with a drill-bit at least 4.5 to 5mm in diameter otherwise you will split your timber. Don't over-tighten the screw, just enough to give a firm feel to the wheel without it wobbling on its bearing. It is tempting to leave it loose so it can be spun (just like in all the pirate movies!) but this HURTS when the spokes hit little knuckles!
