Working on the pics for the new range of climbing frames is taking me longer than I expected. Hopefully I should be able to start posting some of them tomorrow !

Kids Fort

Kids fort that forms the basis of a flexible range of play structures.

This kids fort is a great play structure and forms the basis for you to build a huge, varied, and flexible play system for your kids. In my previous post I showed a picture of it with a climbing frame / monkey bar attachment and a wave slide. Over the next few days I’ll be showing more pictures of how the kids fort can grow and expand to keep your kids entertained for years.

A climbing frame attachment for your fort-based play system

The climbing frame that you can see in this picture is an optional add-on for the fort-based systems that we will be selling. These forts are extremely versatile and I’ll be giving more details of these over the next few days.

Climbing Frame - example 2

Climbing frame / monkey bars with a platform for a slide.

This is the second of the pure climbing frame systems that is being offered by my other site, Garden Playground Equipment. This one doesn’t come with a swing or climbing rope, but it does come with a platform from which you can attach a wave slide.

Both of these can be placed directly on the grass in your garden, but you should use ground anchors if you are going to do that.

Climbing frame example 1

I promised that I would start posting examples of some of the climbing frame products that Climbing Frames Etc. will be selling from around the end of January 2005. Here is the first example. It has rungs everywhere, comes with a single swing set, and an optional slide and a whole range of other accessories can be attached to it.

Climbing Frame examples coming soon

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

I’ve been working on the images for the main web site. I’m going to post a few thumbnails, starting tomorrow, to give people a sneak peak at the products that will be on offer when the site is complete. I’ll start with the climbing frames and move on to the forts, swing sets, etc. later. The posts will be spread over several days. My main objective is to get Climbing Frames Etc. up and running by the end of January. There is no point spending all my time telling people what is going to be coming and then not having enough time to get the site finished !

Looking for climbing frames NOW ?

Tuesday, December 21st, 2004

I forgot to mention in yesterdays introduction that I already have one web site that is selling climbing frames and other outdoor play equipment. The site is Garden Playground Equipment and it sells a superb range of childrens forts, swing sets, climbing frames, and all sorts of other garden play equipment.

You’re probably wondering why I am creating this Climbing Frames Etc. site if Garden Playgroud Equipment offers such a great range of play structures. Well the reason is that Garden Playground Equipment sells products from one manufacturer. People do seem to really like the play systems on offer, but everyone has different tastes, and different sized gardens for that matter. There have been times when the range of products that Garden Playground Equipment offers have been too big for some peoples gardens, or there is nothing that fits in with their needs vs budget. Sometimes people just want a different style ! A further limitation, which has proven quite frustrating for myself and my customers is that I can only get the products delivered to mainland England & Wales.

Climbing Frames Etc. aims to address all of the above problems. Products will be stocked from a variety of manufacturers. There will be a great choice of products and styles. Whether you prefer the traditional wooden look and feel of the Garden Playground Equipment products, or perhaps a more American style look, there will something for you. The price ranges will be such that you should be able to find a climbing frame in the style that you want, at the price that you want. Best of all there will be the option to get most of the products delivered to Scotland and the mainland UK instead of just England & Wales.
